The bottom line is that, if you wish to have that cost effective wedding, you have to be willing to make sacrifices.

I am not saying that having inexpensive weddings is impossible. If you're willing to have a small wedding ceremony with just a few of your very best friends there, you can do it for quite a reasonable price. You can make it distinctive by incorporating touches like top wedding songs. The issue is that, if having inexpensive weddings is your intention, you need to plan everything around it. That means that you have to have a small guest list, make reservations at some cost-effective place, have some reasonably priced wedding day dress, rent a tuxedo for the groom, and play top wedding songs on a less high-priced sound system, normally scrimp and save at every opportunity. Some of my customers have actually taken their own wedding day photographs to save on the cost of hiring a wedding photographer!

The bottom line is that the most cost-effective wedding ceremonies are done in a judge's chambers. Everything else that you do costs further money. Some families go into debt for years due to what they spend on holding a grand, extravagant wedding. To me, it looks like a pity. When I meet clients who truly want to have cost-effective wedding ceremonies, I tell them to have them in the back yard. That way, they can save on wedding reservations - & play your top wedding songs on a boombox, if necessary! If they are truly ambitious, they can even cater it them-selves. If there are going to be more than thirty people there, however, this is normally not an incredibly good idea.

I guess that it all depends on what you expect from your wedding day. When I first got married, all I desired was some straightforward ceremony to bestow my love to my wife.
