My sister and I designed a baby shower for one of our nieces. We made the decision to have it in the fellowship area of the neighborhood church because it was a large guest list. We made the decision to use our presents for the baby shower party decorations. I had obtained a pink and white baby blanket, which we draped over the side of the cradle. We pinned several rattles and other infant toys to the blanket using diaper pins. We then showed the little ensembles that my sister had purchased. We finished the baby shower party decorations for the gift table by placing a big stuffed bear into the cradle. It's so much fun to decorating for a baby shower!

For the food service table we had an array of fresh-cut flowers from the community florist. She used soft pink carnations, baby's breathe and daisies for the arrangement. We determined that no other baby shower festive decorations needed to be placed on this table. We did have pink napkins that we put on this table, together with a cake that was ornamented with a stork holding a little doll in a pink frosting blanket.

We had also ordered a corsage for our niece and one for every of the new grandmothers to be. We felt that the room looked very good and we wouldn't have to spend a whole lot of time cleaning up baby shower party decorations due to the fact that they would all be sent home as gifts to our niece.

We had a great turn out for the baby shower. My niece received quite a few very nice gifts. She was glad that we had the baby shower in a space that was not small. As she progresses with the pregnancy she is feeling more claustrophobic. Within 30 minutes after the shower was over the fellowship area was cleaned up and we were on our way home.
